This suite is dedicated to the sailors of Symi the merchants, captains and legendary sponge divers who travelled across the Mediterranean and returned home with stories and influences from distant ports.
The suite reflects the traditional architecture of Symi and features the characteristic wooden mousandra bed structure. At its heart stands a framed icon of Archangel Michael of Panormitis, protector of sailors who travelled across the Mediterranean, seeking sponge harvest and returning home. An engraving of a Greek sea captain and a marble replica depicting a boatman pay tribute to the island’s maritime heritage.
The suite comfortably accommodates two adults and children over 12 years old. From its windows guests enjoy uninterrupted views toward the entrance of Symi’s harbor, the island of Nimos and the distant coastline of Asia Minor. Every afternoon the sun disappears behind the hills surrounding the harbor.
